Our unit is on the 1st floor and looks directly at the swimming pool. This studio is centrally located near downtown Hilo, aprox a mile from the airport and university. It is 2 blocks from the civic auditorium and the Eideth Kanakaole stadium. The ocean markets and downtown shopping are all close by as well

This is a NON smoking unit. no smoking in the unit, and no smoking on the lanai. You are allowed to smoke in the parking lots, just please stand away from the building, and properly dispose of your waste.
This is a large complex, with renters, owners, and vacation rentals. Generally it's pretty quiet, but there is the potential for noise during the days and evenings, everyone usually quiets down at a reasonable time. You might hear footsteps in the unit upstairs, you might hear talking, birds, ducks, roosters, chickens, music, you will definitely hear coque frogs, possibly a dog bark (large dogs aren't allowed so there are only a few small dogs that live through the complex)
we have 24 hour security on site to handle any human noise complaints.
Hawaii is a tropical climate. It gets warm, hot, humid, and rainy at times. The rooms can get very warm, we have a ceiling fan and stand up fans to help.
