Just north of town, this location offers an abundance of things to do: fishing, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, hiking, off-road trail riding, biking, bird watching, fall color tours, snowshoeing, snowmobiling, sledding, star gazing, and sight-seeing. Local Attractions: Whitefish Point Lighthouse; Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum and Bird Observatory; Tahquamenon Falls; Bay Mills Indian Casino.

All parts of the cottage are yours. The backyard is a shared space but in most cases no one else is there. The fire pit and picnic table are privately yours to use.

32 inch flat screen TV wall mounted while looking out at the bay. Internet access is MIFI from Verizon and allows up to 10 devices to be connected at once.
You wont need bottled water here. The cottage features a shallow well with great tasting pure water of the Lake superior region right out of the tap. No well water taste here.
No Fluoride or chloride either.
Lake Superior can be cold anytime of the year but a great swimming option is nearby Lake Andres State Park. It has a nice little beach and much warmer water. Michigan State Park permit required.

My wife and I just love meeting new people and AirBnB gives us the chance to do just that. We moved up to the Upper Peninsula in 2013 from Fenton Michigan. We reside in Whitefish Township. I am a Paramedic Firefighter and work for the Indian Community of Bay Mills. My wife is a retired Mechanical Engineer, now stay at home mom with our four kids. She is the organized behind the scenes one who keeps things running smoothly. We try to be sensitive to what guests want so for the most part we get out of the way and let you enjoy the sights and beauty of the area but try to at least introduce ourselves and leave it open should you want to engage us in conversation. We love hosting and work hard to make sure your stay is the best it can be.

Some want there space and some like to socialize so we try to be respectful of each of our guests needs , likes and dislikes.
