The flat is situated in a quiet neighbourhood(KATSAMBAS) in Heraklion and is within walking distance to local ameties including a grocery store, a supermarket, a pharmacy, restaurants, cafes and shops.
• 500 m (10 mins walk) away is a bus stop with regular services to the city (2.3 km) and the archaeological museum. Also, it provides access to the port (1.1 km), airport (2.4 km) and central bus station (1.6 km) that can allow you to catch bus services to visit other parts of Crete (Chania, Rethymnon, Agios Nikolaos, etc).
• A 2nd bus stop (on the other side) can provide you access to the local beaches (7.5 km).
• The Knossos palace is 5 km away.
