Clean, zen space with lots of windows and a feeling of closeness to nature.
Beautiful house on a large lot with mature trees, two decks, hot tub. Feels like a retreat! When sharing, we are in the back bedroom with shared kitchen, and guests can take the rest of the house, which is up to 2 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, full bath, and a basement with living space and a queen bed and a half bath.

If you wish, we can also stay in the lower level and you can occupy the 3 BRs on the main and upper levels. We would still share kitchen and shower once per day.

House sits on nearly an acre of land with mature trees and open sunny spaces. We are across the street from Lake Minnetonka, with glimpses of the water and dock access. Bring your boat or use our paddle boards/snow shoes! Yard lends itself to fun for family/friends. We do live here part-time. We usually leave entirely when it's rented, but if you'd like to rent partial house at discount, private spaces can be arranged.
Feel free to eat from the organic garden. Cleaning products used are all natural, so for chemically sensitive individuals, you can feel at home. Please tell us if you have any special needs, we can likely accommodate.

There is a dock available for up to 19 ft boat of stanard width.
Guests can access all areas except a few locked storage rooms/closets. If you plan to use the basement for added living space, please let us know at time of reservation, and we can make sure that is also available. There is a modular sectional sofa and TV downstairs. It makes for a second living room if your number of guests is large enough to wish for more separate lounging space.
There master bedroom suite is on the main level with two 3/4 bathrooms. There are two bedrooms upstairs with a shared full-bath at the bottom of the stairs, so if mobility needs are relevant, plan for stairs. Downstairs, there is also a sectional sofa that can be used as a queen bed (very comfortable, love sac, modular with a mattress topper on it) and there is a half bath.
We rent both as a shared space, as stated in this listing. Or, we can vacate entirely and the whole house is yours for about double the price compared to shared. There's a separate listing on AirBnB for the entire rental.
When sharing, guests take either the two bedrooms upstairs and the main part of the house (we are then in the back master suite) or you can take the upstairs two bedrooms and the back master suite with 2 bathrooms on the main level (then we take the basement).
Feel free to request an even lower rate if it is for a just one bedroom, for example. Send a message to let us know your preferences and we can likely accommodate!
We do have a large, friendly dog. She usually comes along with me when I leave the house.

If we stay in the lower level, we are usually around during late evenings and nights and can be reached easily throughout the day. If you are okay with us sharing kitchen, we usually do so when sharing the space with guests, but if you wish to have more privacy, we can remain in the lower level.
