A brand new guesthouse built above a garage, with cozy farmhouse charm. The guesthouse is nestled in the woods at the end of a long private driveway off a quiet country road. Enjoy hiking, biking, and swimming at nearby Mohonk Preserve and Minnewaska State Park, and restaurants that are a short drive away in High Falls, Rosendale, Stone Ridge, and New Paltz. Or just relax and take in the calm setting. A romantic getaway.

The guesthouse combines modern conveniences such as an effective, energy efficient heating and cooling system and WiFi with hand built and restored furniture and lighting fixtures, making it a truly unique and comfortable space. It's private, but shares the beautiful 3+ acre property with me and my dogs, cats, chickens and a peacock, as well as countless wild birds, deer, and other creatures.
The guesthouse is accessed via a flight of stairs and so is unfortunately not handicap accessible.

You'll have access to the grounds and deck with chimnea, but not my home, garage, or woodworking shop.

My guest house is located in a remote, rural area. A car is necessary to get here and to get around once you are here. During the winter months inclement weather can leave the roads and driveway marginally passable at best. Please do not book during the winter months unless you have an all wheel drive vehicle.

This is a very special, beautiful, rural neighborhood. If you take a walk on the road you may or may not see anyone else. The property is on the edge of a large wooded area so nights are very quiet, except for the usual night sounds of the woods.
