Winter is here in the beautiful foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains! Hiking trails are open and local vineyards, breweries, restaurants and stores are open for your enjoyment. The Home Place at Clore is taking every precaution possible and following the guidelines for disinfection as outlined by the CDC to ensure the safety of our guests. We are disinfecting all door handles, switches, remotes, cabinets, appliances etc. to bring you a sparkling clean home for your stay.

Tucked away in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in Madison, Virginia, the Home Place at Clore offers a relaxful getaway with easy access to local attractions. Whether you are coming to dine at Madison’s restaurants, relax at our local breweries and vineyards, or to hit the hiking trails, we’d love to have you stay with us. The Home Place has spacious rooms, breathtaking scenery, and is filled with Clore furniture.
The Home Place at Clore Airbnb has two apartments for guests to stay a couple of nights or even longer! This apartment (Apartment A) is the entire first floor of the home. It has four bedrooms, two full baths, living room, a beautiful sun porch overlooking the Hebron Valley, a large dining room and a spacious eat-in kitchen with counter tops made right in the Clore Furniture factory! Wifi is available.
Up the hill from the Home Place is the perfect spot to watch the sun set over the Hebron Valley! On the hill you’ll find a small glass/wood house inviting you to come inside and relax. We encourage you to stay awhile and take in the breathtaking scenery.
There is a honey bee hive several hundred feet, up the hill from The Home Place at Clore. The honey is harvested and sold at local stores. Bee-friendly - they won't bother you if you don't bother them!
The Home Place overlooks the showroom and factory of Clore Furniture, a family-owned business that has produced handcrafted furniture since 1830. This is a small, quiet business and you are more than welcome to stop by the office so we can show you around and tell you a little bit about our family!

We are minutes away from restaurants; Mad Local, Miranda's, Piedmont Deli, Bavarian Chef and Pig 'n Steak, just to name a few. Vineyards, breweries? Madison and surrounding counties are full of them! We have brochures available in the apartment so you can plan your stay. We are 30 minutes from Charlottesville and approximately 90 minutes from Washington DC. Hiking? With the Blue Ridge Mountains right here, you can hike 'til your heart is content (or your feet are sore!). Trail maps are available also. Questions? Ask us! We are here for you to make your stay as pleasant as can be.
