Set in 260acres of tranquil countryside enjoy breath-taking views across the Coly Valley and wonderful walks on foot or horseback. Meet our farm animals, have family horse rides and lessons or just come to relax and enjoy the countryside! 3 bedrooms, oak-beamed throughout situated on our family sheep farm with riding stables, close to many beaches along the Jurassic Coast. The Stable Cottage is a superbly converted stone barn, originally a traditional barn where sheaves of corn were threshed, later it was turned into stables for the working horses and now has been tastefully converted into this spacious three bedroomed cottage, oak-beamed throughout with it's own small garden and shared use of the large farmhouse garden.
Lounge, dining room, fully equipped kitchen, breakfast room, utility room with dishwasher and washing machine, downstairs toilet.
Three bedrooms - double with ensuite bathroom including bath, shower, hand basin and toilet; spacious twin bedroom; bunk room, with full size single beds; family bathroom.
Come and enjoy the quiet peaceful countryside around you on foot or horseback.
Riding lessons available in indoor school and quiet family lesson/hacks, no experience necessary. Older children with permission are very welcome to help around the stables.

Wonderful walks around the farm on foot or horseback from right outside the door. The cottage has it’s own small garden and use of the lovely spacious farmhouse garden.
For those interested in riding the riding school is located on part of the farm offering quiet family rides, hacks, lessons & children's half days at the stables. Opening from Wednesday to Saturday inclusive and for keen riders Monday or Tuesday riding can sometimes be arranged.

We are very happy if necessary to postpone your holiday if you need to cancel due to lockdown.
In the school holidays and summer season a minimum stay of 7 nights unless still available last minute.
Out of school holidays short breaks are available and contact us for discounts for couples and any last minute offers.

Devenish Pitt Farm is located in a beautiful valley in an 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty'. We have 260acres of picturesque countryside which includes a small part of the East Devon Way, a 40 mile trail linking to the South West Coast Path, the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site and the Exe Estuary.
We are 4 miles from the market town of Honiton famous for it's lace and where you will find several antique shops.
We are also very close to the Jurassic Coastline our nearest beaches only 10-15 mins drive away. Local sandy, shingle and pebbly beaches include Branscombe, Sidmouth, Beer and Seaton. Dorset's Lyme Regis and Charmouth are also within easy reach both great for fossil hunting and just around the coast from Charmouth is West Bay, well known for the making of the popular TV series ‘Broadchurch’!

My family have lived and farmed here at Devenish Pitt for more than 100years! We are so lucky to live in such a beautiful area and love to share it with guests especially ‘that view’!
