Converted from a lovely old barn, you will feel right at home in this bright and welcoming place.
It has it's own enclosed garden with views over the village rooftops to the hills beyond. There is also additional space for you to uses in the attached oak garden room.
Its a peaceful and private spot in the centre of this small interesting village, but with numerous footpaths right on the doorstep.
We are pet friendly too, so you can enjoy some fabulous walks in the surrounding woods and moorland.
房源空間
Right in the centre of our historic village, yet with a feeling of tranquility and peace is our newly converted, architect designed Barn. Its gat amazing views from the full height windows, and is cosy and warm all year round thanks to the underfloor heating. You will have your own private garden and parking spaces, access to a covered area with a firepit and table and chairs. You can even visit our donkeys and chickens.
其他注意事項
A few notes that dog walking guests have asked about.........
The garden is fully enclosed with a drystone wall and gates. Perfect for dogs.
There are loads of dog walks in the area - either round the village, or off into the countryside. You can go round Hell Hole rocks (our favorite short dog walk with spectacular views), down to Hardcastle craggs NT woodland, or across to Jack bridge (where the dogs / people can swim).....the list is endless.
of the two pubs - The Cross Inn does great food.
There is a local cafe/Deli (guests seem to like getting breakfast there).
Hebden is FULL of places to eat. Italian, Tibetan, Indonesian, Japanese, Indian. etc etc. We are vegan and there is a nice vegan place, plus the Thai is great. And there as lots of local cafe's plus a few micro pubs.
The best roast / pub food is at the Pack Horse inn. Right up on the moors it is a wonderful atmospheric place. (but beware the fine if you ask for chips!). Its a fabulous long walk there, or scenic short drive.
Waking into Hebden is easy and there are a few different routes. There may be a short section on the road, or you can do the whole thing through the woods/ lanes. But it is steep coming back!

位置
Heptonstall、英格蘭、英國
Heptonstall is a charming village with an amazingly diverse history. The Barn is in the heart of the village, and when you have finished exploring the lanes and the old churchyard there are two welcoming pubs, both serving food. There is also a village post office, a fascinating artisan craft shop to browse and a great little deli too. The local museum (run by our friend Richard) is housed in the old grammar school and contains some fascinating local artifacts.
There are footpaths onto the moors, or down into the beautiful National Trust woodlands at Hardcastle Crags. We are a short drive to Howarth and Bronte country. Below the village is Hebden Bridge. Packed with proudly independent shops and numerous places to eat & drink, it was rightly crowned Best Small Market Town in the Great British High Street Awards in 2016.
The village hosts an annual music festival and well as the famous (and baffling) Pace egg play. Heptonstall also hosts the delightful Pennine Spring Music event.

Hello. I'm Mark. I love to spend time outdoors in the amazing area around our wonderful village.
住宿期間
The Barn is on our farm and we live in the adjacent house (though you will have complete privacy). We are very proud of what we have created for our guests, we are not a big business, it's just us so please do get in touch if there is anything you might need. We are both keep walkers, and I'm always out fellrunning or cycling in the area so we'd love to share some of our favorite routes and locations with you.
