This is a quiet, rural area on the Benjamin River. The house is on a 5 acre lot, with large lawns and outdoor spaces.

I am a mother, chef, and nature lover. I moved here from northern California and have lived in Maine for 25 years. I like to travel and was lucky enough to go to Barbados last year. Being out on the water is one of my favorite things, whether swimming, on a raft, in a kayak, outboard, or at work as sternman on a lobster boat. I love animals and am always thrilled to see the wildlife here. Eagles, deer, wild turkeys, raccoons, porpoises, herons, foxes are frequent sights in our neighborhood, and I have also seen a coyote, a bobcat, a moose, and (from a safe distance!) a couple bears. I have really enjoyed being an airbnb host because I have met so many kind and interesting people! I am happy to provide information to guests about activities and local points of interest if they are curious, or leave them to enjoy the peace and quiet if that is what they prefer.
