From the front window or your private outdoor sitting area there is a beautiful view across parkland and the Derwent river to Mt Wellington (Kunyani) beyond. There are lovely walks along the river.

You can walk to the village of Lindisfarne or Bellerive for coffee shops and restaurants. The beach at Bellerive is lovely to swim at in summer or walk along and enjoy at other times of the year.
