We're glad that Jennifer and the other guests enjoyed our location. Unfortunately, being in a mountain cabin can come with some special challenges. We are disappointed to hear that Jennifer found the fireplace difficult to use, and that she felt it was not clean due to evidence of mice. The cabin is always carefully cleaned and inspected prior to every guest stay, and our maintenance is top-notch, but it's not always possible to keep mice out of a mountain home. We encourage our guests to keep doors shut, limit food scraps, and clean up after themselves to prevent any pest problems. This is a gorgeous setting and the wildlife are part of the beauty, just not inside!
