Charming traditional renovated village stone house located in a quiet street. The house is very spacious with lots of natural light. Built in the Mallorcan tradition with thick walls that keeps the house cool in the summer and warm in the winter. The house is stunningly decorated with style.
There is a large living area, with comfortable sofas, an open kitchen/dining area, the kitchen is fully equipped for cooking enthusiasts, downstairs there is patio, with a traditional well, a terrace with table and chairs and sunlounge area, a BBQ for dining al fresco and relaxing in the sun, There are 2 large bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, one with a walk in shower, and the other with walk in shower and bath. Off the lounge is a porch with sofas to enjoy the views to Alaro village and mountains. The house is well equipped with everything you would need for your holiday in Mallorca. Central heating.
Alaro is a typical Mallorcan mountain village situated in the foothills of the Sierra de Tramuntana mountains approximately 25kms north of Palma. Close to the villages of Santa Maria, and Binissalem which is the main vineyard area of Mallorca, it is possible for wine tasting tours in many of the famous Bodegas.
Alaro is an authentic village and the main square is surrounded with shops, cafes, restaurants and its imposing church which is the focal point of village life. Frequent fiestas and celebrations are held in the square where there is also a regular Saturday market with local produce.
Alaro is an ideal situation for those who wish to be active or relax. It is surrounded by excellent routes for walking, hiking to the countryside and mountains, cycling is very popular with local cyclist routes, and many of Mallorca's golf courses are easily accessible, close to beautiful calas and sandy beaches like Alcudia, Puerto Pollensa and more.
