Welcome to Garden House Hideaway. Nestled in the Chilterns and right on the Ridgeway, this gorgeous loft is above a 3 Bay garage and has its own entrance and off-road parking. It is beautifully furnished with a small galley kitchen and fabulous views of the countryside. We are easy to access from both Oxford (25 minutes) and London (1 hr) via the M40 - the perfect place for a weekend getaway, or as a base for walkers and cyclists.

Before entering the hideaway there is covered space for wellies, wet coats and bicycles. The top of the staircase opens into the bedroom and living space with a lovely big window giving lots of light. The double bed makes full use of the countryside views and is situated in the middle of the room. There is amble storage space and a television for playing DVDs.
The galley kitchen has a small fridge, microwave and kettle. Tea, coffee and sugar are provided. Please note that there is no sink in the kitchen but fairy liquid is provided with a cloth under the sink in the bathroom.
Towels, hand soap, shampoo and conditioner will also be supplied in the bathroom.
Please note that at the moment there is no WiFi in the flat, but this can be accessed outside and mobile reception is also good.

At the foot of the Chiltern Hills and a stones throw from the Ridgeway, Garden House Hideaway is perfect for walkers and cyclists. There is a fabulous farm shop in the village which sells essentials like bread, butter milk etc plus a few other treats as well including beer, wine and chocolate! It is open from Tuesday 8.30am - 5.00pm to Sunday 9.00am - 12.00pm.
Watlington is our closest town and it is a mile away. There is a great selection a shops here including a supermarket, deli, bakery and chocolate shop. Guests should also make full use of the local pubs such as Olivier at the Red Lion, which is just opposite us. This excellent pub is open from Wednesday lunch to Sunday. The Sir Charles Napier in Bledlow Ridge and Belmont Le Manoir aux Quat’Saison in Great Milton are also conveniently near. Garden House Hideaway is just a 20 minutes drive from Henley and well situated for the Henley Regatta and the festival. Garsington Opera is 15 minutes drive and Oxford is 30 minutes away, with good shopping, sightseeing, colleges, theatres, museums and punting. For the keen golfers, Huntercombe and the Oxfordshire have their challenges!
