I moved from Washington State to Murphysboro, IL in September 2019. I had never been to Southern Illinois and knew no one in the area. I fell in love with this gorgeous house on Zillow, went into escrow without seeing it in person, quit my job of 10 years and decided to just go for it! YOLO as the millennials say! After all, I was just about to turn 50 and I wasn’t getting any younger. I have long dreamed of owning an Inn and Event Venue where my house could also be my business. Such a Hallmark movie fantasy of mine. I take a lot of pride in what I’m doing, as this is my heart, my passion and my livelihood. I do my very best, every day, to make this vision not only come to fruition (which I think it’s in the process of), but to also be sustainable and wildly successful. And that means everyone’s experience here will provide them with beautiful and lifelong memories! Thank YOU to my guests, friends, family, and supporters for being a part of my dream!
