Kristin出租的整棟別墅
6位3間臥室3張床2.5間衛浴
Described as a "Mediterranean fantasia" in Style Weekly, this Italianate villa, built in 1910, was chosen to be part of Historic Garden Week in Virginia in 2018. Situated on a double lot, the manicured gardens offer a sanctuary for relaxation and reflection. The rental space includes 3 bedrooms with queen beds and 2.5 baths. The master bath was renovated in January 2020. This fully furnished house is ideal for quick getaways and long-term executive and corporate rental.
房源空間
This 3,000 square foot house has been meticulously renovated over the years to include every modern amenity. You'll have access to three bedrooms, 2.5 full baths, high-speed internet, TVs with cable, a laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer, and private off-street parking (with garage access for long-term stays). The kitchen appliances include a stovetop, double oven, refrigerator, microwave, and two wine fridges. You'll also have access to dishes and utensils, glasses, a coffee and tea bar with a Keurig (and a French press and teapot if you want to get fancy), and a host of cooking implements (toaster, blender, griddle, waffle maker, mini prep, bread maker, ice cream maker, etc.).
The backyard has multiple sitting areas, including a table for four, a chair and sofa area, a daybed, and a small bench in a secluded corner of the garden. The flowering gardens on this rare double lot in the city feature hydrangeas, camellias, peonies, lilacs, irises, tulips, clematis, roses, crape myrtles, plum and cherry trees, and a host of other flowering plants. There's also a vegetable garden run wild, primarily with herbs and tomatoes.
You'll be within walking distance (1 to 1.5 miles) of several restaurants and a coffee shop. You'll also have easy access to downtown Richmond (less than 10 minutes), the Fan (5 minutes), the airport (approximately 20 minutes), and the train station (15 minutes).
Events and photo shoots are not permitted without host permission. Unauthorized parties will incur a fee of $1,000 and will be subject to immediate eviction without a refund. Unauthorized guests beyond the allowed 6 will incur a guest fee of $100 per person.
房客使用權限
Guests will have access to the first two floors of the house. Long-term guests may request garage access. The third floor is reserved for owner storage.

If you plan to bring your pet(s), please let me know in advance.

Unauthorized parties will incur a fee of $1,000. Unauthorized guests beyond the allowed 6 will incur a guest fee of $100 per person. No unauthorized photo shoots are allowed.
During your stay, my team of gardeners may arrive for maintenance; I will give you a heads up. My yard team mows every week during the season, typically on Friday mornings.

The Ginter Park area, named for businessman Major Lewis Ginter, of Richmond is filled with historic homes in a variety of styles. You'll be a block from Union Presbyterian Seminary and its gorgeous Tudor Revival architecture, a five-minute drive (or bike ride) from Bryan Park and its azalea displays and bike and walking trails, and a 10-minute drive from Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens. While you're in the area, check out the biscuits from Early Bird Biscuit Company on Bellevue Avenue. For great coffee shop, stop in Stir Crazy on MacArthur Ave. One of the best dives, profiled by Guy Fieri, is Dot's Back Inn, also on MacArthur. All are within a 1.5 mile radius of the property.
It is a quiet residential area in the heart of an older part of the city, so please respect the city's noise ordinance and your neighbors with no noise outside between the hours of 11 PM and 7 AM.
If you like to run, walk, or bike, turn right out of the house driveway and right on Seminary Ave. Continue through the Seminary itself onto the remainder of Seminary Ave. If you go to the end and return, you'll walk approximately 3 miles. Brook Road, one block away, has bike lanes, and Bryan Park is also suited to bikers. I recommend avoiding running, walking, or biking on Chamberlayne Avenue, which is busier, but the streets immediately beyond it (Hawthorne and Noble in particular) are lovely and similar to Seminary, lined with older homes and more residential.

I love my home--it's my sanctuary. Nothing gives me greater happiness than enjoying my gardens from the 18(!) windows in my entertainment room--unless I'm actually in the gardens. But, for the next two years, I'm renting it out, starting in July 2020. If you have any questions about my home or the Northside of Richmond, Virginia, don't hesitate to get in touch. I look forward to hearing from you.
