A 1-story Enchanted Cottage, Perfect For Two!
Private outdoor hot tub.
We loved our time here! We were originally booked for the small cottage but were notified by Verna a couple days before we left that the hot tub was malfunctioning and it was possible that it may not be up and running by the time we arrived. We were upgraded to a larger house at …
Hi Brittany: Thank you for the great review for family Cabin #39! We do apologize that the hot tub in Cabin #60 malfunctioned before your stay, and we weren't able to receive the parts required to repair it before your arrival. The silver lining, of course, was an upgrade to Cabin #39! We are very happy to hear that you had an enjoyable stay, and would like to thank you for the ship-shape way in which you left the cabin upon departure. We look forward to seeing you again the next time that your travel plans bring you back to Mt. Baker :) Happy trails, Dan
Did not notify us of the power outage (out of their hands) until the day of. Was already halfway to our destination. Overall the situation was handled well in terms of negotiating a refund but some notice beforehand would have been nice to reschedule our vacation.
Hi Mani: Thank you for your review of what would have been your stay in family Cabin #60! In life there are sometimes circumstances that are beyond our control. While we do everything humanly possible to keep our Guests up to speed, inconveniences are a part of everyday life, (whether we like it or not) and that was definitely the case during the sudden and extended power outage that occurred just prior to what would have been your stay. As we didn't plan the outage, and mother nature didn't consult with us beforehand, we provided you with as much advance notice as we could. During this particular time period, we had over 60 reservations, and were doing the best that we could to communicate with everyone to keep them appraised of the situation. All but a couple of our Guests were very understanding, and we thank them profusely. A couple were very upset with us regardless, and you happened to be one of them. Happy trails, Dan
Pleasant setting, although a little close to the highway. Uncomfortable bed. Spa was great, but a bit exposed.
Hi Kent: Thank you for your review for Cabin #60! We are pleased to hear that you had a pleasant stay. Although the highway is relatively near the cabin, we haven't received many comments about road noise. As the Mt. Baker Highway is not a through road, (it ends at the Mt. Baker Ski Area) road noise is typically limited to mornings as the skiers and snowboarders head up for the day, and late afternoons as they head back home. Many thanks for the respectful way in which you left the cabin upon departure. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we look forward to seeing you again soon :) Happy Trails, Dan
My boyfriend and I had such a great stay at the enchanted cottage! Very close to hikes, the hot tub was awesome and we were surprised how stocked with gear the kitchen was. Great place to relax and get out of town for a bit!
Hi Alyssa: Thank you for the great review for Cabin #60! We are very pleased to hear that you had an enjoyable time at the cabin, and hope that you had a chance to enjoy the "Stellar Vision" ceiling...a little added bonus! Many thanks for the respectful way in which you left the cabin upon departure. We would highly recommend you to other hosts, and look forward to seeing you again in the not-too-distant future! Happy trails, Dan
Great location, great stay
Hi Tyler: Thank you for the great review for Cabin #60! We are very pleased to hear that you had a great stay, and hope that you had the opportunity to enjoy the private outdoor hot tub. There are a few really good hiking trails within walking distance of the cabin, and having Canyon Creek and the Nooksack river so close is a real bonus. Many thanks for the respectful way in which you left the cabin upon departure. It was a pleasure hosting you, and we look forward to seeing you again soon. Happy trails, Dan
The directions were spot on for getting the keys then driving to the location (about 5miles apart from each other). The over all location is about as close to Mt. Baker as you can get, I see where in the winter this would be an amazing find for skiers that don't want to drive bac…
Hi Christine: Thank you for the great review for Cabin #60! Very popular both summer and winter, this cozy little cabin is perfect for 2-persons. Coincidentally, that is indeed the enforced maximum occupancy limit for this particular cabin. Thanks for letting us know about the odor. Upon checking, we discovered it to be a pet odor emanating from the foyer. We have since taken steps to eliminate it. Many thanks for the courteous way in which you left the cabin upon your departure, and we hope to see you again in the future. Happy trails, Dan
This was the perfect getaway or my husband and two dogs. We were coming to the area for the first time, and knew it was going to be beautiful, but it was better than that! Booking, communication, and amenities were easy from start to finish. We can't wait to go back!
Hi Kate: Thank you for your great review of Cabin #60! It was truly a pleasure hosting you, and I would like to compliment you on the tidy way in which you left the cabin upon departure. It is truly a pleasure serving folks like yourself, and we look forward to seeing you again! Happy trails, Dan
