Situated in the quiet and well regarded suburb of Newstead, less than a 5 minute drive to the Launceston CBD. The apartment has undergone an extensive renovation, and boasts a new kitchen and bathroom, new carpets, fresh paint, new heating/cooling and furnishings. With a lovely north-easterly aspect, the apartment is light filled with views out to the mountains. The apartment is private and secure and includes 3 small bedrooms, 1 bathroom and open plan living spaces.

The apartment backs on to a commercial hairdressing salon that is presently open on Monday to Friday, including some evenings. Whilst the common walls have been sound/fire proofed, the sound of hair dryers, music and/or conversation may be faintly heard. The bedrooms do not share a common wall with the hair salon.

The apartment includes its own privately gated entrance and offers a secure indoor and outdoor space for guests. Secure off-street parking for up to 3 vehicles (1 undercover) with remote access can be provided at an additional cost if required. There are 4 steps from street level to the front door of the apartment.

A renovation of the apartment was completed in January 2020. Guests enter the apartment into the open plan living space which includes a dining area with table for 4, lounge with 3 seater couch and separate arm chair, and a brand new kitchen with updated appliances. The area is flooded with natural light all day, and new sun-filter blinds have been installed on all windows. From the lounge you can enjoy the views of the mountains to the north-east. The kitchen pantry incorporates a european laundry with washing machine. The kitchen is fully stocked with new crockery, cutlery, and glassware. The lounge includes a 40 inch smart tv, and the apartment has good wi-fi range throughout (included in the nightly rate). The apartment includes a new reverse cycle air conditioner to ensure guests are always comfortable.

There are two bedrooms off the main living area. Bedroom 1 features a double bed, bedside table and lamp, block-out blinds and a built-in robe. Bedroom 2 provides a single bed with additional trundle bed under, bedside table and lamp, and a desk and chair. Block-out blinds are again installed on the windows in bedroom 2. Bedroom 3 features a queen bed, bedside table with lamp, and a chest of drawers. This room is an internal room and does not have an external window. All bedrooms have new carpets, fresh linen and quality mattresses/bedding. A porta-cot with bedding is also available to cater for guests with young children.

The sleek new bathroom provides guests with a 1200x900 shower, vanity and toilet. The bathroom features a tiled floor and shower area, good lighting and an extraction fan.

The apartment includes a grassed lawn surrounded by mature trees. A clothes line is provided and also an outdoor entertaining area with BBQ and seating to enjoy those warm summer evenings.

The apartment is situated just a short walking distance from the Newstead shopping precinct, which includes a Coles supermarket, restaurants, coffee shops, pharmacy, hotel/bottleshop and petrol station. The neighbourhood is well regarded and safe.
