my new park lodge is privately tucked away on our little farm and looks out onto gorgeous countryside., it will offer stylish, well equipped, warm, very comfortable accommodation. Suitable for up to 3 adults or 2 adults/2 children.

This brand new and extremely comfortable lodge is decorated in a traditional English country style. contemporary but cosy and very comfortable. .. It will occupies the same beautiful site as the old static caravan but now has a big verandha and very private enclosed garden and patio area looking out onto gorgeous pastoral countryside. It is especially lovely now Autumn is here. At night the skies are clear and starry (no polluting city lights), and you can hear the owls hooting in the woods.
The interior of the lodge is appointed to the highest standard with free open access wi-wi, and large TV. The spacious main bedroom has a 5' double bed, and the spare room with single bed is big enough for 1 adult or 2 small children. Cot or childs bed available on request.
The lodge has loads of space and will be brand new and beautifully decorated with good shower, and and a spacious and cosy living area and kitchen with all basic amenities and storecupboard necessities - tea, coffee, condiments etc.
The home has a gas fire and electric radiators but is fully winterised for all the year round living and will be very warm and cosy. It will be perfect for a Winter getaway.
One Small/medium size Dog is welcome if well behaved and sensible. There is a £5.00 per night supplement for a dog. If you want to bring a dog, Please check this with me before you book.

Guests will have access to enjoy an area of outstanding natural beauty.
There is permissive access on our property and this joins up to a network of lovely walks. It is a great place to bike. We have a couple of bikes you can borrow if you feel energetic. Buck house has a river you can paddle in and lots of animals who love visitors. Geese, horses, hens, Jenny the whippet, you name it!

If you wanted to bring a horse and enjoy the wonderful riding around us, we do have some stabling which could be organised. There is a riding school very near by.
We also enjoy a lot of wildlife. This is a haven for walkers or wildlife enthusiasts. Just listen to the owls hooting at night!
While we provide free wi-fi in the caravan, we cannot guarantee constant access due in part to the rural location of the farm.
If the connection fails for some reason, guests are welcome to use our house to access the internet. We do our best to ensure reliable service, but this cannot be guaranteed at all times. There is no mobile signal in the caravan but guests can use Wi-fi calling. There is reception around the farm but you have to walk around to find it.!

We are situated down a little farm lane. Access is easy but we are very private. However, we are only a mile from the thriving village of KIrkby Malzeard which has 2 shops and a pub.
Ripon is only a 15 minute drive, as is Masham. We are within easy access of both the dales and gorgeous countryside, or bigger towns like Harrogate and York.

I love living in the country. I have lots of animals (plus 2 grown up children). I have worked with horses all my adult life and especially love National Hunt racing. Despite this I am an avid reader, enjoy writing comic vignettes and little plays and have an ambition to visit Delphi because I have always had an interest in Greek mythology. Oh, and I like to make rather badly sown quilts for my grandchildren. I like almost any food except BBQ flavoured crisps. We thoroughly enjoy having guests. Last year we rented out another little caravan on airbnb (see its listing) and we met some really delightful and interesting people. We enjoy new company but are busy and more than happy to leave you to your own devices. We also enjoy giving advice to guests about where to go and what to see; in short to help whenever we are needed.
