This is a lovely and typical neighbourhood with lots of amenities, and facilities. Everything is within a short walking distance and as there is a metro station in the same street, even if you want to discover further parts of Porto, that will be the easiest. I recommend taking a 3 day metro card just so you make the most of it, and have the freedom of using the metro to go places. If you prefer to walk, then you couldn’t be in a better place as everything is near.
