This 200+ year old Fisherman’s Cottage is located in the heart of the village, nestled within its own private grounds, walk to Ceredigions spectacular coastline in minutes.

This quaint self catering cottage with wood burner, sleeps 2 adults, very cozy, spacious and comfortable.

When arriving at the Cottage, it is located through its own private access which features a strong gate which can be locked for added security, this will lead you down 16 steps with a hand rail into the Cottage grounds, a private and spacious gravelled area with bistro table and chairs, outside bench and shrubbed area.

The cottage consists of a large well equipped kitchen diner, with original beams, which includes table and chairs, washing machine, fridge, microwave, toaster, oven, DAB radio & bluetooth, Freeview TV, family games, shoe rack and binoculars, everything you need for a comfortable, convenient and enjoyable stay, also including portable folding beach chairs, a large beach/ picnic blanket and sun umbrella.

The lounge is again a spacious room, with original beams, which includes a modern defra approved log burner with clear glass to watch the flames, DVD player with a selection of DVDs, a cottage suite, rocking chair, coffee table, wardrobe and a comfortable pull down double bed, thus allowing the guests to sleep warm in front of the fire, very cozy, with some lovely features in the room.

Fresh bed linen is also provided, including a spare set.

The bathroom is fully tiled, nautical themed, including a brand new shower, two bath towels, two flannels, hand towel and complimentary soap.

This is a unique little Cottage by the sea, quirky and very sweet, come and treat yourself to the experience of living in this true Fisherman’s Cottage, explore the coast then come back put some logs on the fire and relax.

其他注意事項
The property is located approx 15ft below ground level of the main village road, just on the bridge near the beautiful River Aeron, it is accessed via 16 descending steps, which makes it very private and very quiet, practically hidden, the walls in the cottage are 2ft thick and it’s fully double glazed.

Parking is situated all around the village, spaces are usually available on the corner of the adjoining (Water Street) just a few steps from the Cottage entrance, this is a quiet village so parking is not a problem.

Also if you drive further into Water street you’ll come to the end of that road where you’ll find a car park next to the village hall, this is also where the coast is located.

The Cottage is just two minutes from that point, however parking is usually available in close proximity to the property.

位置

Aberarth、威爾士、英國

Just a brief walk from the cottage, a coastal trail and cycle lane will lead you directly to Aberaeron, where you can spot Red kites, Buzzards and rare sea birds along the way, Aberaeron is a colourful and vibrant harbour town with a wonderful friendly atmosphere, you can stop for a drink at the famous Harbour Master hotel, or treat yourself to the famous local honey Ice cream from The Hive restaurant while taking in the natural beauty of the harbour, the brightly coloured homes dotted around the bay, explore the local shops and don’t forget the visit Aberaerons famous £1.20 shop!

With a stunning coastal walk and pebble beach just a short walk away (2/3 mins on foot), it’s the perfect spot for you and your pets to unwind, enjoying the sea views and the most stunning sunsets Wales has to offer - watching the sun dipping down into the horizon above the sea.

The breathtaking coastline of Cardigan Bay stretches in both directions from the village of Aberarth linked with the Wales Coast Path and harbourside towns such as Aberaeron, 1 mile away and New Quay, 10 miles, with a selections of eateries, cafes and ice-cream parlours just a short drive away, or catch the bus which stops in the village every 30 minutes, for the more adventurous travellers you can even reach New Quay on foot by following the coastline, which I have personally done many times myself and highly recommend!

Traditional seaside villages dot along the coastline such as Llangrannog and Tresaith and Penbryn all within a 20 mile drive.

The area offers a variety of outdoor activities such as wildlife spotting boat trips from New Quay, which gives you the chance of sighting the bay’s famous bottle nosed dolphins.

River and sea fishing, golf and maybe spend an afternoon crab fishing off the harbour in Aberaeron.

Another place not to miss is Devils Bridge waterfalls, a true beauty spot and famous tourist attraction with several cascading waterfalls scattered within the heart of the Cambrian Mountains just 12 miles from the seaside town of Aberystwyth, a Victorian beach resort with its sweeping seafront promenade, funicular railway and little steam railway that will take you straight up to Devil’s Bridge.

Why not take a trip to Bwlch Nant yr Arian to watch the majestic daily spectacle of the Red Kites being fed, a great place to burn off some energy with its mountain bike and walking trails, then back for a Welsh Cake in the coffee shop?

The area has a few of Wales’ National Trust properties with the working farm at Llanerchaeron or the sandy beaches and woodland walk of Penbryn, both being within a short drive.

You could also visit Dalacougi gold mines, with a guided tour in the mines and try yourself a spot of gold panning!
