Our unique cabin is surrounded by farmland with the stunning seven bays at your finger tips and close to both St Merryn and Padstow. The perfect escape for two. With a cosy kingsize bed that's raised so you can enjoy the far reaching views, your very own stylish bathroom and a hand crafted simple kitchen. The outside area is a real suntrap, perfect for those morning coffees and evening BBQ's.

The Bolt Hole is designed to be a home from home. This charming studio has all you need to relax and unwind. You'll have parking next to you, an outside seating area with a BBQ provided. Access to Wifi alongside books and games. For those cooler days you can cosy up by the log burner. There are two gas rings and a grill for you to cook up a storm with but no oven. Plenty of plug sockets, two of which with usb outlets for your convenience.
We would like to share with you our off-grid living with our very own water supply and power provided by solar. We have an unusual home, a converted WW2 communications bunker that we are excited to be bringing back to life and therefore share its heritage.

We are very lucky to be within the famous seven bays, all approximately a 5 minute drive away. Porthcothan Bay is nearest to Newquay then following up the coast to Treyarnon, then Constantine Bay, Booby's Bay, Mother Ivey's Bay, Harlyn and then Trevone Bay which is nearest to Padstow. They are all absolutely stunning. This area of Cornwall is renowned for walking and water sports and is a walkers and nature lovers' paradise. Padstow itself is roughly 5 minutes drive away with restaurants a plenty plus boat trips and other excursions available. Our local St Merryn has everything you might need, eateries, take aways, live music pubs, Premier shop and petrol station. The South West Coast path can be picked up from many close by spots with views that will take your breath away. Easy access to the A30 means most tourist destinations and quieter gems are not far away.

We will meet you on arrival and introduce you to The Bolt Hole. We do like to give our guests space and won't bother you thereafter however our home is on site and we are available if you need anything.
