Enjoy a clean, modest, comfortable cabin in a private WV community. It is a recently updated 1500 sqft cabin on 5 acres, with the creek at the back door. Wifi and Roku TV. 1 full bedroom, with a second loft bedroom with a queen bed and a twin rollaway, a queen sized sofa bed, and a twin sized adjustable couch.

For those who enjoy relaxing on a private deck a few feet from the creek, listening to the water, the cabin is exactly how it sounds. Best in the spring, summer, and fall, you can swim or fish for trout, or take a walk up the short trail though the woods to the crest of the mountain. In the evenings, grill your food on the charcoal grill and spend time around the fire pit. Feel like staying in? WiFi on the Roku TV allows you to stream through your own account.
The cabin is situated in the hollow of two small mountains on the outskirts of the (very) small town of Capon Bridge. It’s part of a private community with amenities including a swimming pond and a fishing pond, which can be used year round.
If you want to take a short trip, Winchester, VA is about 30 miles away with an abundance of restaurants, breweries, shopping, etc. There are many options for hiking, kayaking, shopping within an hour’s drive.

Anywhere in the cabin is available for your use. There are 3 sheds on the property but are not currently accessible by guests.

The cabin is best enjoyed by those who want to spend time outside enjoying nature, or want to get away from the city and experience some peace and quiet. It is not a luxury getaway, but is a modest, comfortable stay with many outdoor activities locally. I strive to maintain cleanliness and sanitize after each guest.

Located in a private community that offers plenty of privacy, but not total seclusion. The community roads offer plenty of miles to walk, run, or ride a bicycle. There are 2 outdoor tennis courts, a swimming lake, and fishing lake. You also have the option to fish or swim in the creek from the back deck.
