Come back and relax in front of the fireplace after a fun-filled day of skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking, or hiking. Just a 2 minute drive to the ski resort or a 10 minute drive to Downtown Banner Elk.

Experience one of the first 10 homes built on Beech Mountain. This gorgeous Topsider Roundhouse was built in 1969 so it has all the charm of a vintage ski chalet! We've renovated with hardwood floors throughout the home, all new appliances, a fully-stocked and updated kitchen, as well as cozy furniture and decor with a cool mid-century feel. Floor to ceiling windows surround the home offering panoramic long-range views. You can take in the sights while enjoying your morning coffee from the outdoor dining area or from bed! Two bedrooms (one king, one queen), a comfortable pull-out couch, and 2 full bathrooms provide more than enough space for a couple or a family of 6! High-speed fiberoptic internet also makes it a great option for those looking to work from home. I am always a quick text message away to give recommendations, or point you in the direction of anything you need! I can't wait to share my favorite spot with everyone and I hope you enjoy it just as much as I do!

In the summer the jalousie windows will be open and you'll be able to open the house to the outdoors - Beech Mountain has only had temperatures above 80 degrees 10 times since the 1950s.
The house does not have air-conditioning but it is not necessary, even in the summer months, due to the elevation of the home.
There are 3 security cameras on the property. One monitoring the front door, one monitoring the back door, and one monitoring the basement door. These will be recording for the entire stay of each guest. These are simply for security and to ensure reservations and cleanings go as scheduled.
Firearms and weapons are not allowed on the property.
