Spacious private home with beautiful views at Hawk Mountain Resort, located between Killington and Okemo. Direct access to private hiking/snowshoe trails; lake access for swimming/kayaking. House features greenhouse windows, fieldstone fireplace, multiple porches, high-end appliances, outdoor grill, sauna, whirlpool tub - and is stocked with games, books and toys. When open, the resort offers an on-site restaurant, heated outdoor pool, tennis courts, lighted sledding hill, fishing pond and more.

The chalet architecture is perfect for appreciating all the natural beauty that the seasons have to offer - while keeping cozy in winter and cool in summer. We love reading by the greenhouse windows, which almost feels like you are perched in the trees. And we love spending warmer weather on the porches, where we put up swings and a hammock to fully enjoy the mild weather. In winter the kids love making snow forts just outside the door, and warming up in the sauna afterwards. We also have a "secret" kids clubhouse tucked away on the lower level - just ask us about it!

At the highest portion of Hawk Mountain Resort, the "Ledges" community features amazing views and direct access to a vast network of private trails for hiking, snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. The road is not paved but is well-maintained and reliably plowed; we strongly recommend 4-wheel drive in the winter months.

I'm from Boston originally but have lived and traveled all over the world. My husband and I welcomed a daughter in 2011, and twin boys in 2016. We aspire to continue exploring the world, though perhaps in not quite as free-wheeling a way as before! I enjoy seeing what life is like in other places, more than viewing famous landmarks. We all enjoy time outdoors - swimming, biking, hiking, etc. We've been hosts ourselves as well, and know what it's like to trust your home to someone else.
