- Coffee Machine (Coffee beans can be purchased from local store)

The dining area leads on to a sun filled CONSERVATORY, where you can get some peace and quiet and maybe take advantage of the book collection available.

Gym and swimming pool - 4 min walk. Headington (18 min walk or 5 min drive) has tones of supermarkets, restaurants, cafes, pubs, banks, a pharmacy, petrol station, post office, parks and more! My nearby recommendations would include visiting the house that CS Lewis lived in and wrote the Narnia books (with gorgeous nature reserve behind it) and the 'Shark House' - definitely worth a photo. Shotover is also a great country park. Full list of shops, restaurants, recommendations can be found in the 'Neighbourhood Overview'.
JR Hospital - 8 min drive. Brookes University - 5 min drive.
Oxford city centre and the historic college grounds are only a 10 minute drive away or easily catch the number 8 bus directly there.

Catch a 24/7 bus to London (Oxford Tube) and surrounding airports from Headington Shops (5 min drive) or Thornhill Park & Ride (7 min drive).

Please note if a guest locks themselves out of the property OR they do not place keys in the lockbox at checkout, a £50 call out charge will apply and if a guest loses or breaks a set of keys, a £100 fee will apply, so please be careful with them.

There's a local fish and chip shop in Barton and a McDonalds just off the round about. Headington (5 min drive, 18 min walk) has plenty of lovely restaurants, cafes, pubs and bars to choose from! The Black Boy - Award winning gastro pub. The White Hart - Traditional British pub serving food with beer garden. Aziz - Indian restaurant connecting to the Chequers pub. Acropolis - Greek food. Posh Fish - Best fish and chips in Oxford! Beirut - Lovely little Lebanese restaurant. Craft Burger.
Local Attractions:
Barton Leisure centre is only a 4 minute walk away and has gym and pool facilities. In Headington and especially down London Road you will find a mixture of shops, parks (Buryknowle & Shotover), trendy cafes and local pubs. My nearby recommendations would include visiting the house that CS Lewis lived in and wrote the Narnia books (with gorgeous nature reserve behind it) and going to see the 'Shark House' (definitely worth a photo).
