Beneden de dijk (beneath the dijk) is a former farmhouse with modern comfort at the Zuiddijk in Zaandam (12 km from Amsterdam Center).
The detached house is suitable for 2 persons, has a living-, bed-,bathroom and kitchen, located at the groundfloor.

The detached house is suitable for 2 persons, has a living room, bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and private parking for 1 car. All rooms are on the groundfloor and you have full privacy. The top floor of the house is not in use.
The livingroom is decorated with a seating area and dining table, a televisionset with 60 channels and DVD player. The bedroom has 2 single beds. If you wish we can put them together with a top matress, which makes a lovely double bed. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven/microwave, stove, fridge, dishwasher, Senseo coffee machine, waterboiler and other kitchen utensils. The bathroom provides a shower and toilet.
Free internet and Wifi is available.
The busstop is 5 minutes walking, the bus brings you in 20 minutes to the Central Station in Amsterdam, or in 10 minutes to the Zaanse Schans.
By car you are within a 20 minutes reach of Schiphol Airport or on the beach. It takes you 10 - 15 minutes by foot to the lively centre of Zaandam.
The house offers self - catering, but on request we can do your breakfast shopping.
The home owners speak English, German and a little bit of French.

Ik ben een zelfstandige ondernemer werkzaam inZaandam. Wij zijn importeur /reperateur van wedstrijd catamarans ( zeilboten met 2 drijvers) . Dit bedrijf run ik samen met mijn vrouw Betty. Voorheen woonden personeel , onze kinderen , vrienden en bekenden in het huis naast ons eigen huis, maar die zijn nu hun eigen weg gegaan, vandaar dat wij het nu verhuren via Airbnb. Wij hebben daar zulke goede ervaringen mee dat we nu ook het appartement op de bovenverdieping van ons eigen huis via Airbnb verhuren.
