This historical and cultural village, with its Victorian buildings & quaint streets, is alive with a variety of interesting shops, restaurants and adventure activities including shark cage diving. Simon’s Town is a haven for nature lovers and Simonsview is an excellent spot to view the antics of the Southern Right whales that grace our shores each year.
A mere 10 minute drive away is the famous Boulders Beach where the unique land based African penguins swim amongst bathers in the sheltered coves of beautiful Boulders Beach. Boat trips from the Simon’s Town Waterfront provide an interesting introduction to the town and its rich history. Cape Point, also nearby, has excellent hiking trails where you can enjoy the Cape’s fynbos and birdlife.
Simonsview is a 40 minute drive from Cape Town City Centre and Cape Town International airport and is a great base, to unwind, relax and enjoy all that Cape Town has to offer.
