The BnB in Gökhem, 7 km from Falköping, is called The Cuckoo´s Nest.
It´s opened all the year around - the coffee shop with antiqueties and second hand gods in the summertime.
Here you live close to nature, in beautiful and historical surroundings.

Seven kilometers west of the Swedish town Falköping is the small village Gökhem. Gök means cuckoo and hem is home. So we call our place The Cuckoo's Nest.
At this quiet hideaway I run my B&B all year around, and I also have a coffee shop with antiqueties and second hand goods in the summertime.
Here we live close to nature. You can se cows, sheep and there is an ostrich farm nearby. If you are lucky you can catch a glimpse of deers or moose.
The neighbors cat, Mister Yellow, is the big hunter of Gökhem. He has returned home with both rabbit and trout. Other cats in the neighborhood, Miss Skrållan, enjoys handpicking bats from the roof and the shy Mister Bull prefers to tease the cows.
The area is famous for its many birds at the lake Hornborgasjön, especially thousands of cranes from March to May. And for its historical surroundings with many churches, old graves, a lovely monestary ruin and for its rich fauna.
Shopping and restaurants can be found in Falköping. And, of course, in Gothenburg that is one hour away by train.
Finally, we call it "The Cuckoo's Nest" and Jack Nicholson is as welcome as anyone else.

The hole garden.
其他注意事項
Hungry? Breakfast included.
There is a coffee place in and outside the Antique café in the barn.
And if you don´t want to drive into town for dinner, you can buy it at different price levels in the dining room in the big house. If you prefer to sit in the glass porch you´re more than welcome.

My name is Linda and I run a little antique store with a Bed and breakfast in Falköping, Sweden. I´m the mother of three (non live home anymore) and share this place with my husband. I love to grow plants and fix in my garden. If you will arrive in the summertime you might be lucky enough to taste my home grown cucumbers, potatoes or squash. I have always loved to travel, both professionally and private. When I travel I enjoy beautiful surroundings and hilly landscapes. I have worked all my life at one of Sweden’s biggest newspapers, Göteborgs-Posten. I quit in 2012, when I left Sweden to live in China for two years. Now I’m back at home and have time for my passions - antiques and hosting my BnB. If you have any questions, feel free to ask!
