Located 25 minutes from Hobart in a beautiful countryside location. Views over Crabtree River and the mountains beyond. Crabtree House includes three separate apartments that can be booked individually or together. This allows either a couple or a group of four, six or eight. Three bathrooms service the apartments.
The Heritage apartment has a veranda overlooking the river and mountains where guests dine alfresco or simply relax while sipping a wine or beer.
The Loft apartment has a large deck with the same view as the Heritage. Both apartments have BBQs and outdoor settings.

Crabtree House is set in beautiful English gardens with over 80 rose bushes some a century old plus large magnificent trees including elms, silver birches, and maples.
Guests have access to the majority of the grounds.

We can organise several activities including Bruny Island Cruises and fly fishing. Garry and Anna have lived in the Huon Valley for quite some time they can advise you where to visit and what walks and drives to take.

Crabtree House in set in a beautiful rural environment yet only twenty-five minutes from Hobart. Apart from Norman our resident platypus you will see wallabies, wombats, fantastic bird life including eagles, hawks and black cockatoos.
