Portland boast pristine beaches, coastline, forests and national parks nearby.
A walk down to Portland foreshore is relaxing.
Always something to look at, boats/ships in and out of the harbour. Fishermen cleaning their catch, seals in the harbour . Winter brings the fishermen after the tuna, whale watching.
Marylands is in a very quiet street and neighborhood.
Perfectly situated close to town, shops, beach, boat-ramps and sports-grounds
Portland Football/Cricket/Netball ground at end of the street.
Hospital just a short walk so perfect if you need accomodation whilst visiting hospital.

We have both recently retired from our nursing and midwifery careers and are enjoying no shift work and the freedom retired life offers. We settled in Portland area 30 years ago after a working holiday around Australia with our children. We both grew up in Melbourne and although love visiting family there, love always to return home to Portland. We enjoy country life and love our walks and exploring our beautiful area. We are proud parents and grandparents, so spending time visiting them in Sydney and Western Australia are high on our priority list. Caravanning is also something we like to do whenever we get the opportunity. We are a quiet relaxed couple and are respectful of ensuring guests comfort and privacy during their stay.

We are aware that some guests would like more interaction than others, so we are only too happy to help our guests if they would like more communication or advice on travel needs.
We will be available by phone and live close by should any problem arise.
