Travel restrictions
Due to COVID-19 there are lockdowns in place across the UK and travel is not permitted other than in limited circumstances until at least April. Failure to follow the law is a criminal offence.
Room in two-bedroom ground floor apartment available in the highly sought after Rosemount Area; around a ten minute walk to Union Street and just one minute from main bus routes. Local shops are also only around the corner!

COVID-19 - I have put some measures in place to ensure everyone is kept safe during your stay. Airbnb’s enhances cleaning protocol is being followed before, during and after your stay. The room surfaces are cleaned with hospital grade disinfectant and there is at least a three hour gap between guests checking in and out. I provide hand gel, disinfectant wipes and single use disposable face masks for guests.
I ask that if guests have any of the following then they get in touch immediately -
New continuous cough and/or fever
Shortness of breath
Loss or change in taste or smell
The whole apartment has been freshly decorated with new carpets, a lick of paint and some new furniture. The bedroom boasts a Queen size bed with brand new mattress, a small chest of drawers and a larger cupboard for storing items. There are some local information leaflets for you to browse and I provide freshly laundered towels for the duration of your stay. There is an extra duvet and pillows available also, just let me know and I will look these out for you. I also have an air mattress that can sleep one person, if you need this let me know.
The apartment has a well equipped kitchen with modern black granite counters. It includes a large fridge and freezer, toaster, panini maker, oven/grill and all the other cookware necessary to make a gourmet meal! There are also laundry facilities for those slightly longer stays (Or emergencies!). I provide tea/coffee and almond/oak milk and if there are any snacks in the fridge or kitchen then please help yourself.
I encourage guests to use the large separate lounge during their stay; this has two comfortable sofas and a TV complete with Sky, Amazon Prime and Netflix. There is also a high quality sound system throughout the apartment that guests are free to use (preferably not at 3am though...).
Outside there is an enclosed garden that gets the sun all day. The apartment also has enough storage space for large items of luggage. Guests are also welcome to bring pets, the convenient garden and nearby parks are ideal for dogs.

Check in time - I work shifts for one of the emergency services, therefore check in time often depends on when I finish work. I can be flexible with check in times on my days off, but when I am working, check in times may be a little later in the afternoon. When requesting to book, please let me know what time you plan to arrive and I will do my best to accommodate this.

The flat is located just a short walk away from the local shops and take aways.
Around the Rosemount area there are a few great little cafes - Clover Cafe and Rosie's Cafe. There is also the local pub, The Queen Vic, just a minutes walk from the apartment (very convenient!). You will also find a grocery shop, fish and chip shop, Indian and Chinese take aways only a minutes walk away. A new Thai restaurant has also just opened on Rosemount Place. Heading west from the apartment you will find Victoria and Westburn Parks which are great in the summer!
The walk to Union Street (main shopping street) takes only around 10 minutes.
