Transport: just a 7 min walk from Canonbury Station to take you to Stratford, East or West London or 15 mins walk to Highbury & Islington Tube station on the Victoria line. There is an excellent bus network on the doorstep to take you to Shoreditch and City of London (15-20mins bus ride), Kings Cross (30 mins), Euston and Soho, Theatre Land, West End.
Location: Newington Green itself has great shops, cafes and restaurants and it is easy to walk to many of London's most creative, vibrant neighbourhoods. There are four hairdressers, one spa salon; the best greengrocers in the city, a health food shop, launderette, dry cleaners, cobbler, two delis, and numerous late night stores for produce. We will be able to make recommendations for good places to go right across the city if you wish. There are two great independent cinemas in the area.

Stoke Newington Church Street is more like a village with the large Clissold Park and a modern leisure centre with two large swimming pools. Nearby Dalston offers an edgier experience with a large number of clubs and cool late night bars.
