A beautiful, well appointed condo in a peaceful setting. My two sisters and I greatly enjoyed our time there. Wish we had been able to spend more time and would love to return. It was a pleasure to come "home" after a day exploring the area. The unit was lovely, spacious, very clean and provided everything we needed to be comfortable. I would recommend checking in BEFORE 4 pm to avoid being considered a late arrival and having to check in at the security office across the highway - or at least be aware that this is the procedure.
Quaint and spacious two level townhome 2/2. Nicely appointed and comfortable. Master downstairs, spacious with a large soaking tub. W/D in Master bedroom (own closet) a bit loud to run, if you are in room and wanting quiet but, loved the convenience of having a W/D during our stay. Unit has ample closet space. The master bedroom feels private and away from the rest of home. Amenities are a mile away, being that it is a Destination Resort Community offering Golf, Club House, etc. Recommend home for 4 max if you want to be comfortable. Staff a Foxhunt were kind and attentive. The phones in the unit never got a "dial tone" being the only drawback, not being able to connect with services in community - when leaving I inquired about issue - they were working on it. Due to the woods and mountains, cell service at the unit is non existent for ATT & Sprint (We use both). Unit has Wi-Fi. All in all a great home and host (Jennifer). If you want to get away to a quiet, well appointed, full service retreat, give this a try - SVR.
What a beautiful area this is! Our group was quite pleased with our stay at the lovely Foxfunt condo in Sapphire Valley. Some pros and cons to consider: Pros: -The condo was very nice and in great condition. It seemed well maintained. -Beautiful setting in the woods. -Peaceful outdoor sitting areas on two floors with plenty of chairs and tables. We really liked the outdoor furniture. It was in good condition and well made/strong (not flimsy like the cheaper plastic outdoor chairs). -The large jacuzzi tub was a hit. -The rec center and other amenities were great. Our group loved the putt putt, ping pong tables, pools, foot golf, swimming in the lake, etc. There was a lot to do. -The staff at Sapphire Valley were very helpful. Cons: -Couldn't walk to the main amenities -Because the condo is in the woods, there wasn't any open yard space for us to run around. -Lots of steps to get into the condo--you park almost above the condo, then walk down about 20 steps to the entrance. -Even though 6 can stay in the condo, there's no dining table that can seat 6. This was a great trip to Sapphire, NC and we hope to return someday!
