My comfortable house is close to the Sunport airport, Sandia Labs, Kirtland Air Force Base, local hospitals, Nob Hill, UNM, Uptown, Downtown, and Old Town. I invite you to enjoy the comfy bed, easy access to interstates and entertainment districts, and the surprisingly quiet neighborhood. I welcome couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers; students, KAFB and Sandia Labs interns, and traveling nurses have booked my room. I have central air conditioning and heating. Free coffee/tea.
The house is in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to grocery stores, bus lines, Nob Hill, VA, and Kirtland Air Force Base. Downtown, Old Town, UNM, and CNM are just a little bit further, and are within biking distance. Plenty of public transportation to utilize also. I have a furnished bedroom with a queen bed, modern windows, blinds, and a closet. Shared bathroom and living spaces available. You would have lots of peace and quiet. A long-term tenant lives in the house with a quiet cat. Additional cats considered with extra charge. Solar power will take care of most, maybe all, of your needs. Fully equipped (pots/pans, utensils, plates, cups) kitchen for you to prepare and to cook meals.
You'll have full access to the living room, kitchen, and den including the washer and dryer. Backyard access is also available. You will not have access to the other bedroom.
Depending on when you stay, we might get to meet. I don't live in the house but will try to meet you at least once during your stay if possible. I am always excited to give recommendations for restaurants and things to do.
You may also be staying with other AirBnb guest(s) or currently, a long-term tenant who has a cat and is respectful.
As a fellow Airbnb guest, I understand and value the trust that hosts extend to guests when they open their homes or properties to the traveling community. Please extend me the same courtesy when staying at my house in order to continue providing this wonderful service. A favorable guest review will be your reward in addition to hopefully many good memories of Albuquerque! :)
The initial cleaning fee covers biweekly cleaning services for stays up to 14 days. For stays longer than 14 days, a charge of $40 must be paid by guest(s) starting on day 15 of the reservation and every four weeks thereafter.
Carry luggage to bedrooms instead of rolling them over stairs to protect floors.
No smoking or vaping on the property.
Lock the doors and turn off lights when not in use. Please be conscientious of your energy consumption.
Please promptly clean up after using common spaces.
Please eat at the table. I treat the house for roaches (which are very common in Albuquerque), but food left out will attract them.
Please do not park in the driveway unless we talk first. There is plenty of on-street parking.
Do not have mail sent to this address without prior approval. No extra guests beyond the number have already been paid for.
Please realize that you will be sharing the space with another person or other AirBnb guests.
This is my home and is privately owned. I am not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or illnesses that occur while on premises. Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guests.
I'm an easy-going, fun-loving transplant to NM and I like meeting new people and sharing with them. I love to travel and find new experiences that make life rich! Exploring Albuquerque has been a lot of fun and I can give you recommendations for just about anything in the state (outdoors activities, food, sights, etc.) I'm a nonsmoker and social drinker.
