"Crown jewel of Comfort" NY Times. Hotel Faust is a modern boutique hotel with historic Texas casual elegance. Room equipped with coffee maker, bottled water, corkscrew, cable TV, wireless internet, & digital room locks. Room 25 is accessed via an outside stairway with the porch overlooking the Hotel’s courtyard. Room 25 has a queen bed with Comphy bedding, large bathroom and walk-in shower. Not handicapped accessible.

The Historic Hotel Building is the original 1880 two-story hotel with a wing that was added in 1894 to match the twenty-inch walls of cut limestone, fourteen-foot high ceilings, and oversized windows. Inside your updated Suite you will find your room quite comfortable with Comphy bed sheets, pillowtop mattresses, cable TV, sitting areas, and spa bath products. This historic hotel offers courtyard access for all rooms. Enjoy rocking chairs throughout the property. Located right in the middle of Comfort, Texas we are walking distance to tasting rooms, restaurants, antique shopping and wedding/business venues. Tesla owners can take advantage of our newly installed charging station.

A boutique hotel in the middle of Comfort, Texas. The hotel was designed and built by Alfred Giles at the request of local Peter Inguenhuett in 1880, with 1 addition added in 1894. In June 2019, the owners completed a million dollar restoration of the property bringing it full-circle. This beautiful, limestone hotel now features a total of 14 rooms with private baths & individual mini-splits among other amenities. As travelers ourselves, we know it's important to have as much information on hand as not everyone comes to the Texas Hill Country for the same reason. Our office has limited daily hours or we can always be reached by text. We text our guests the day before arrival with general information. We can always provide listings and brochures of area restaurants, winery tours, State parks and golf courses.
