The restored farm buildings at La Richardière offer 3 self-catering Gites which are set in peaceful, beautiful and rolling countryside. The property is over 200 years old and was once a Fermette bustling with cattle, sheep, goats, ducks & chickens. It is South of the River Loire.

L'Hirondelle has two bedrooms -
*One double and a second bedroom with up to 3 single beds.
*There is a shared shower room and toilet.
*Downstairs there is a large living room with French and English TV and unlimited Internet
*a sizeable fully equipped kitchen diner.
*Outside there is a private garden with table and chairs and barbecue.
In the grounds there are 4 acres of gardens and grass which is great for playing games and having picnics or just relaxing.
The heated swimming pool is 11 meters by 6 metres.

When guests book they have access to the whole Gite, with shared access to the grounds, gardens and heated-swimming pool.
其他注意事項
Beware, in France most things stop for lunch between 12 and 2pm, but they stray open later into the evening. So it is goo advice to leave early and adopt the French way and take a leisurely lunch or picnic in the middle of the day. Many amenities are closed on Mondays.
Please note, we do not accept dogs on this property as there are no boundaries and we respect the any potential health issues of the next guests to stay in the Gites.

Our lives in England were very different from the life we now lead in France. Patience was a stay at home mum and Dave was a Primary School Headteacher. When Dave retired at the end of December 2014 we moved to France and have thoroughly enjoyed preparing the traditional and characteristic French cottages at La Richardiere for our guests. We have found the French people extremely welcoming and this has enabled us to carry on with our interests. Dave is a practicing musician and accomplished at playing traditional Fiddle music from England, Scotland, Ireland and the USA and Patience sings in the local Choir and is developing her creative skills in the local pottery. We have also developed a close connection with the local Primary School where we teach English on a Friday afternoon.

We do offer a weekly wine-tasting experience which brings together all the guests from our Gites and finishes with an open barbecue for those who wish to partake.
