The host and her family are very friendly, but it will help improve their marketability if they can re-organize their living room space or have less items. I was told we can use their kitchen since my husband can't eat greasy food. I didn't feel comfortable using their kitchen. There was air conditioner, but no TV. Again, the host is very friendly, but they need to invest some time to improve the living condition.
The house has all the necessary facilities, so does the flat. It's extremely clean and neat, everything inside is super new and fresh, very well maintained. Seems like the hosts take very good care of their nest. They also offered me snacks and a very nice dinner, shower and laundry. Phoebe and her boyfriend Will are very nice people and speak English, so it was nice to talk to them too. However, probably it's mentioned in the description, but as I don't speak Chinese I couldn't have had a clue of that, the guest sleeps on a sofa in the living room which could be a little narrow for some bigger guys and it's not convertible into a bed, so it's just like you just sleep on a sofa in its basic and purest sense. This also assumes not much of privacy. But I was so tired that it didn't bother me much, just to mention. In my honest opinion that would be an excellent option for Couchsurfing.. Overall, I don't mean anything bad, it's a good place to stay! Thank you Phoebe and Will!
Greatest hospitality I have ever experienced! The host is so nice, bringing me local foods, fruits and drinks. My main purpose of the stay is to participate in the area's marathon, hence I didn't have time to go around, but I believe it should be a great location of stay for travelling in the area.
