Living in a tiny studio in Boston my husband and I with our dog were eager to have a quite mini vacation. Looking for a cozy place were we could cook and relax with a view- this was perfect. Just barely an hour from Boston it was secluded though not too far away. We enjoyed making dinner, playing one of the board games provided and had a filling breakfast at MaryAnn's Diner (which wasn't far away). With the snow and mud there weren't too many places we could walk our dog but we had nice time just walking along the neighborhood streets. He was thrilled with the collection of dog toys! The bedroom was clean, the linens were soft, and there were multiple sitting areas with a nice view of the frozen lake. I forgot it was being renovated so I would definitely recommend some slippers since the floors were mostly torn up. We enjoyed our stay!
