Or you can go early and get drinks and chips and queso or other appetizers in the bar. Alamo also shows old favorite movies regularly which is fun and we love their retro vibe.

It was re-opened in 1995 as a live performance theatre and has continued to entertain the community with live music performances and live theatre productions.

Joyland is 14 miles from Heyday & began its legacy of fun in the late 1940's under the name of Mackenzie Park Playground. Through the years, it entertained thousands of people in the West Texas area. By the late 1960's, the amusement park had begun to deteriorate. The Dean Family purchased it and changed the name to Joyland starting with 13 rides in 1973. Joyland has grown steadily to its present size with over 30 rides and attractions today. It's a good price for a fun time for any age!
