Trying a gemüse döner is a must-do in Berlin and you're very lucky as Rüyam is often referred to as the best in Berlin (and doesn't have the 1 hour wait line that Mustafa's has!). Go there for lunch or quick bite for dinner, it'll cost you about 7 euro for 2 people! It's more than just a hole in the wall as there is seating, bathroom and they offer free tea. It's a very traditional and well-kept döner restaurant with amazing charm. Locals love it. If you leave a tip the entire kitchen team will say DANKESCHÖN!

The Stinky Blue is the best burger I've ever had in my life. I've tried some of others, including the veggie burger and they were all AMAZING. The place is small but awesome and won't break the bank. I go there almost once a week. The service is very friendly too.

Traditional German restaurant with a lovely beer garden. The best schnitzel I've had so far, it comes in a sweet mustard crust and is called the Bayerische. Good service and reasonably priced. You will not leave hungry.

The most amazing Indian food. Everything we've had on this menu has been delicious. The family who run the place are very friendly too. Samosas are the best I've had. Ask for the extra sauces too, they're delicious. Food is reasonably priced and the atmosphere is cosy.

Super cheap and super delicious, Peanut sauce is unreal. Sahara is very popular across Berlin and this one is nice as it has proper seating and free tea! The meals can be vegetarian or not. It will cost about 7 euro for 2 people.

Well known for having some of the best, if not the best coffee in Berlin! Service is great. There are two options for the roast, I just tell them to pick for me :)

If you want to try out a traditional German sauna house, I absolutely love this place. It has multiple saunas, a pool, loads of relaxing areas with deck chairs and a sky terrace! There's never too many people in there either so it's quite relaxed. Reasonably priced and only 2 stops on the U-bahn or a 5 min cycle.

Very beautiful park with an incredible view to Rathaus Schöneberg and the U-bahn station which sits on a body of water. It's very unique and a must-see being only 10 mins walk away. Not many people in Berlin know about this very special sight.

Edeka is great and has everything you need. Keep in mind it's a little more expensive than discount grocery stores like Penny, Lidl and Aldi.
There are countless different supermarkets within 10 mins walk to the apartment so you have a pick of them all. But Penny is the cheapest and Edeka has the most variety.
