This little restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating and is an absolute gem if you want to eat real good real Umbrian food. You have to make reservations, but we're happy to help you out should Italian be a challenge.

This is not really a restaurant but a circolo, kind of a community house. The menu is plain and simple, affordable and very, very good. The best pizza's in the neighborhood and friendly owners. In summertime there's an outside terrace. Only open Friday - Sunday for dinner. It's a 30 minute walk from your apartment.

Todi is only 8 kilometers away and a medieval gem with one of the most beautiful town squares in Umbria. It is a nice morning trip, take a long lunch and then visit the rest of the town.

The stunning duomo or cathedral can not be skipped if you love Italian architecture. There's also ample opportunity to visit the underground city of Orvieto. There's also a nice museum about the Etruscs.

A beautiful state park that stills houses some wolf packs today. It's a good 2 hours' drive, but very worthwhile if you want to take a long hike in the outdoors. Also for winter skiing and paragliding.

In Fratta Todina you'll find a nice selection of small shops for your veggies and fruits Orta & Frutto, meat at the 'macelleria' and a small grocery store Conad. The bread at Conad is so,so, if possible get it at Giovanni's in Monte Castello.
