Sandbanks is perhaps known best of late as having the 3rd most valuable real estate (per foot) in the world (after Manhattan and Hong Kong)...more than that though there is a beautiful beach and Harbour walks and some nice places to eat and drink. About an hour and 10 mins from The Old Haybarn. The chain ferry over to Studland Bay (5 minutes) is well worth taking if you enjoy very quiet beaches and now 2 very high class restaurants too.
