Best coffee in town, in a town of great coffee. Amazing omelets. And their homemade fettuccine is incredible

Our favourite pizza spot! Located on the corner of Av Vanderbilt and Av Central. It’s delicious, quick and inexpensive thin crust pizza. The four cheese pizza is decadent and delicious. You may want to ask for them to prepare it "bien cocido" as the crust can otherwise sometimes be a little soft.

Amazing gelato. Favourites are Nutella, Cafe, Pistachio and peanut.
Enroute to Remanso beach They have an amazing pool, great food and lovely owners. It’s a great place to chill for the afternoon, swim, drink beer, and eat and eat and eat. Try their fresh fish, its hand picked from the market daily.

Arte Sano café is a little pricier but is a beautiful decorated little spot with amazing views and great breakfasts. Just before heading up hill to Maderas you take the hill to left. Arte Sano overlooks both Maderas and Marsella and has a stunning view.

The Surfing Buddha Cafe
Avenida MercadoSushi, Korean BBQ. Lots of vegetarian options
Fun hangout, no nachos though! It is a burger joint and in our opinion has the best burgers in town as well as super bad for you but amazingly delicious Animal Style fries (a hangover must). Also gets busy at night with a bit of a (young) bar scene and amazing surfing movies looping in background.

Definitely the fanciest of the chicken places they have a beautiful garden and good food for decent prices. Not limited to just chicken though they do have a great family chicken dinner. :) We have also heard the Filet Mignon is delicious.

Avenida del Rastro (she is showing one street north of her location on the map, ignore this she's one block to the south). She is not the “original chicken lady” but she gives her a run for her money and at about half the price. Pretty much cooks dinner up out of her yard. Check it out.

To the South, beautiful sand beach, restaurant and shaded areas to hang out in. It has a $3 admission fee, but it has a little bit of everything. Good for swimming and surfing.
