L.A. Live is an entertainment venue located in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles. Adjacent to Staples Center, it is the home of the Microsoft Theater, Regal Cinemas and various bars, hotels and restaurants, like the towering JW Marriott, WP24 and SBE’s swanky Katsuya. The area is jam-packed almost every night of the week (especially pre-Lakers, Clippers and Kings games) with tourists and locals alike.

Two floors of a re-purposed historic bank building that also houses the Crocker Club — one of Downtown LA's Coolest Clubs . The address is on Spring Street, but the entrance is around the corner on 5th. They don't just sell, buy and trade second-hand books and records. They've created an intriguing combination of quirky art and wide-ranging literature in a really unique space. The bones of the original architecture are allowed to shine through with a painted beamed ceiling supported by classic columns. One of the most popular is the Tunnel of Books on the 2nd floor

Downtown’s historic theatre district is one of the most culturally significant stretches of Los Angeles. A dozen movie palaces, many dating back to the early 1900s, the area is in the middle of a renaissance, anchored by Ace Hotel ,shops and restaurants on one end and Grand Central Market on the other. You’ll find movie screenings, musical performances and live theatre staged occasionally at the Los Angeles Theatre, Million Dollar Theater, Orpheum Theatre, Globe Theatre, Palace

100 square blocks of shoppers' paradise in Downtown LA. The bulk of the LA Fashion District is roughly between the 10 Freeway to the south and 7th street to the north, and Main Street to the west and San Pedro to the East, with a little overflow in each direction on certain blocks.

Los Angeles finally has an observation deck on top of a skyscraper on the 69th floor of the tallest building in L.A., the US Bank Tower. Not to mention a glass slide from the 70th to the 69th floor.

Though this Spanish-inspired plaza has seen better days—blame it on a postmodern makeover and some unsavory fixtures—it remains Downtown’s central public space. The park hosts events throughout the year, including a Wednesday farmers’ market, summer concerts and a winter ice skating rink, but it’s worth a visit anytime for its views of the surrounding iconic 1920s- and ’30s-built edifices.
