This place is delicious for both savory dinner and sweet dessert. Also has ticketed concerts upstairs. They may let you upstairs to the best outdoor rooftop on H St, but only if there isn't a ticketed show. Berry and cherry pies are vegan.

This food hall has a ton of delicious options in a convenient space with free parking. Closes early some nights so plan ahead. Veggie lovers, try DC Dosa! And watch the cost here. Food hall here means a food court's expensive older sibling.

$ - cheap(er) eats are in the food court in the basement if you're sick of DC prices. Shake Shack, Chipotle, Chop't Salad, Cava and more are here on the ground floor. It's also a mall and our Amtrak station. I think there is a parking deck here but have never used it. We just street park in a particular place we can show you if you want.

$ - This is a second location. DC used to be nicknamed Chocolate City until around 2011, and this is one of the most famous restaurants that's black owned. It's also one of the most affordable meals you can still have in the city!
