The drinks often come with a presentation where the bar will light up or sounds will ring out across the bar. (Inside tip - if your looking for something special ask for the secret bowl its not on the menu because.... its a secrete.) The food is okay mostly you are going for the fun drinks and unique atmosphere.

This is a great local coffee spot. It's eclectic and well loved in our neighbourhood. Well worth a walk over for a morning cup of goodness.

If you are looking for some of the best views in Vancouver Season has you covered. The high end dining experience is excelent value for the quality of food and service. Reservations for a good table by the window at sun set would be a great idea for a birthday or special event.

Yeast Van Microbreweries
East Vancouver is getting the new nick name Yeast Van because of all of the Microbreweries we now have. You can pub crawl many of them at once or take your time for an flight at one or two. There are a wide range of beers to be had and no matter your taste in beer, you will find many tasty options. Don't forget your Growler to fill and bring home the top choice. For an easy walk look at 33 Acres, Brassneck, Main Street Brewing, Brew Hall R & B Brewing and Craft. They are all clustered around each other (from 2nd to 7th around Main).
This is my favourite spot. There Grizwald Winter Ale if on tap is worth a try as an award winner but the Strawberry Hef is a solid alternative options depending on the season.
