This is an excellent lunch and coffee spot that you can visit as you go up the mountain from 87. It's right before Kaaterskill Falls. They have great sandwiches and sweets. Also specialty items like Kombucha etc.

Best secret swimming place. If you go down to the roundabout and follow the trail down to the water there is a private ish swimming area. Its better than the beach area, deeper, cleaner, more secluded. Also great place for kayaking, canoeing, and Frisbee. We bike there frequently with the dog. Works for all ages.

Highest standing waterfall in New York. This is now a common swimming area. Since a New York Times article came out it gets tons of traffic. There is a section called Fawn's Leap where people can dive and swim. Views are amazing.
