The Paint Mines Interpretive Park is quiet and peaceful. The entrance to the park is nothing but open fields with turning wind mills off in the distance. After you past the first set of rocks, you will discover beautiful, colorful rock formations.

Red Rock is a “city preserve with marked walking & biking trails, as well as scenic views of red-rock formations.” We’ve personally hiked this (mostly more of a walk) and it’s beautiful!
