The Las Torcas reservoir was built in 1946 in the course of the Huerva River. Nice and easy route that will take us from Tosos (585m) to the reservoir (620m). Circular that will pass through the Casaza castle from the 13th century. It is a fortified watchtower, from the medieval Christian period with three floors and two rooms separated by a wall. This place is a spectacular viewpoint over the Huerva river valley. The start of the route is in the Church of Tosos, in the upper part of the town and where you can also leave your car. Drive without losing following the signs of the PR HU-142. Total tour: 2.30 hours ASCENT: 1:30 a.m. Although it can be done in either direction. We start on the paved track that will go up slightly and without respite until the reservoir of Las Torcas. About half an hour after starting the paved road is the detour to Casaza, totally recommendable to go up to visit it, it's just 5 min. You will turn back and continue along the paved track to the reservoir. DESCENT: 1 hour For me, the most beautiful part of the route runs along the right bank of the Huerva River, in fluvial, jungle and shady terrain. A small path that will take us to the track to see the Peña Rajada and later arrive at Tosos.

A Unique area for people who like history. Here you live History and a part surrounded by Vultures a big bird with around 4 meters between the wings. They hang around Mezalocha. Route departing from Muel, to follow the Huerva river path, which goes to the Mezalocha reservoir and back along the same path. If you want to shorten the route, you can always leave a car near the reservoir, so you don't have to walk back. Dog: It can be done with a dog without any problem. Water: There are no fountains. (About 5 km between Muel and Mezalocha)
