You're in Italy, you better enjoy some great food!

Fantastic grocery store where to buy traditional products :) My personal fave in the area, offers lots of genuine and fresh stuff everyday and it's located in a cozy 'mall' with clothing stores, cinema and electrocnics store.

Great pizzas, delicious schiacciata and the biggest bread selection ever! I definitely recommend their corn bread and all the tiny schiacciate with olives, seeds, nuts, grapes etc! If you're bored of our non-salted tuscan bread, you need to grab something at Pugi!

This place is small, messy and dusty as hell, but you'll find some really cool retrogaming stuff here. The owner is a jolly and really competent man that can give you tons of advice and help you find any rare game or console you'll ever need! It may not be the prettiest looking store ever, but that's not what's important, right? GAME ON!

For the lovers of art and history :D

Florence's most famous and largest museum. Worth the price, worth waiting in line. Here, you'll see some of the most beautiful paintings ever created and there are are SO MANY of them you'll lose count! The building itself is really beautiful and important from an historical standpoint: it was the residence of the rulers of Florence, the Medici family, and to this day it remains the city's town hall.

Beautiful park and Medicean villa in the small village of Pratolino. As you go up in the hills with the bus (number 25A, departing from Piazza S.Marco) you'll get to see Florence from above in all its glory. The park itself is free, huge and hosts one of the most imposing and peculiar statues of Tuscany... the Appenine Colossus °O°

Don't accept imitations! Go and see the REAL Michelangelo's David at the Galleria dell'Accademia. A collection of great statues from Italian and European sculptors and the big guy himself, David, showcased in a special room that really makes you appreciate the fine craftsmanship of Michelangelo.

Florence's town hall is a very special one. Once the home of the Medici family, it's located right next to the Uffizi gallery and for this reason way too many people skip it :( From the quotes from Dante's Inferno engraved in the courtyard to the delicate 'grottesche' paintings on the ceilings, there are so many cool things to find in this ancient building that remains at the heart of Florence's political scene. Did you know there's even a secret passage in the maps room? I won't tell you where it is... but if you look close I'm sure you can find it!

A largely unknown gem! This beautiful ruined abbey is located in the countryside around Siena, easy to access by car. It is a fantastic photo opportunity when the fields all around it are filled with sunflowers and crimson poppies. The building itself is mysterious and romantic, even housing the Italian equivalent of King Arthur's Sword in the Stone in its crypt.
